Sarah David for Baltimore County State’s Attorney

The State’s Attorney is Baltimore County’s top prosecutor, and they play a critical role in ensuring that the criminal legal system treats all Baltimoreans fairly, and keeps all Baltimoreans safe. Baltimore County’s current State’s Attorney has not been doing either. And on top of those shortcomings, he has been actively advocating in Annapolis against the commonsense criminal legal system reforms that JUFJ, our partners, returning citizens, and years of data support.

Sarah David understands that children who are accused of committing a crime are still children, and deserve to be treated as children. She has worked to hold corrupt public officials accountable, and she is committed to an approach that connects people in mental health or substance abuse crises with support. David will bring her experience as a legislative staffer in Annapolis, as well as her experience as an attorney, to turning this public office into a resource at the local and state level for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
